From J-Lay style copper back-up clamps to various pulsed-gas welding techniques, CRC-Evans has developed automatic welding technologies for use in deep water pipe lay applications and other projects which require the use of corrosion resistant alloys, such as 13 Cr martensitic stainless steel pipe. The J Lay welding system is made up of the P260 External Welder, the J Lay Clamp, and Pipe Facing Machine.
